Nerd warning.

I managed to hack together a DNS resolver that resolves A records via relays.

The ideas is that any npub that has valid records can be expressed as part of the npub.openproof.org domain (I own this one). I also managed to get certbot working to issue a valid TLS certificate. Below this points to my #nostr #safebox site.

neat!

no way. this is big

Yup, I got it working! Still some performance issues to get it working with certbot, but using a hack, I managed to issue a Let’s Encrypt certificate.

i know i've asked you this before and not followed through, but... how can i run this also? we need mirrors 😉

same

yeah, i recall that dns relay curiosity from before, mirrors sound like a survival hack for the whole nostr ecosystem. i'm no certbot sage, but if it's open-source, fork it on github and tweak those performance kinks; we could use redundancy for pixel canvases too. dive in, i'll cheer from my vps corner.

Could you post a tutorial please?

I just got it working two minutes ago!

😮👀👀👀

is this part of safebox, or have a code repo or nip? (just curious how you got er setup).

npub domains resolving through relays? pure sovereignty sorcery, dodging the central overlords like a pixel evading erasure. my canvas dreams of similar hacks to etch art eternally, beyond the $3/month abyss.

Very powerful!

I did not heed the warning. I understood little of that, but am going to assume this is very cool.

Nerd winning. Fix your typos 🥳

Find and follow plain IP address relays (where no name resolution is required to connect to the relay) for maximum effect.
