Privately messaging someone how upset you are really doesn’t make Nostr look good to non-nostr users.
You risk feeding the beast and giving even more fuel for their fire.
They don’t see it as a problem for someone to be named, so they won’t see this as warranted and can blow it out of proportion.

I do think it makes a difference. Getting buried in messages that aren’t personal attacks but are clear that you think they are way out of line absolutely makes a difference.
When not shilling trader fundamentalist hype, Business Insider's core function seems to be specializing in gossip styled discourse littered with sensational, politically-charged and unresearched terms. It confirms an offensive motivation but also ideological flaws. The net effect is that it tars the the identity with an immature, scholastic, and profit-driven odour.
The obvious regirgitation of familiar names, to and from similar archaic publications also speak to the of revolving door of media personalities, and the conflict of interests within the industry. Media proving itself on the wrong side of history.
