What is the best guide to start using Nostr Markets as a merchant? I do not have lnbits installed (although I have btcpayserver). What do I need?
Discussion
Besides lnbits, you can take a look to plebian-market and shopstr. They are also NIP-15 implementations.
You can run LNbits or use the instance of someone else (just like with BTCPay Server)
Than it is just few clicks.. Let me know if you need help.
It's in our plans to create a bridge between the pos app and nostr markets but we're a bit overloaded for now
Yes! Wow!
I wrote a guide here:
https://darthcoin.substack.com/p/lnbits-nostr-market
Starting a LNbits with a neutrino mode LN node takes no more than 30 min (chans included) or use any other funding source.
Here I wrote a guide how to do it quick:
That's the one that I've found, but I don't want to run lnbits. Fan of the project, but I already run too much stuff that I need to take care of (monitor, update) and it increases attack surface.
You could also use nostr:npub1market6g3zl4mxwx5ugw56hfg0f7dy7jnnw8t380788mvdyrnwuqgep7hd which is also nip-15 compatible, and doesn't need you to setup a node (but you can also do it, if you want).
nostr:npub15dc33fyg3cpd9r58vlqge2hh8dy6hkkrjxkhluv2xpyfreqkmsesesyv6e makes it really easy!
You can also watch our pitch from #TopBuilder2024 to get an idea of what our goals are and how to use the site (demo is around the 12:35 mark):
Oh, and all you need is an npub to get started (and a Lightning address to make things more seamless).
