Hard to say. That was quoted in a #ttrpg sourcebook back in the 90's called "Mage:The Ascension"... One of the White Wolf games in the same world as Vampire: The Masquerade, etc.
The book has section headings that quoted all kinds of stuff, Carlos Castaneda, the Upanishads, KMFDM lyrics... etc
