knots is written in RUST - maybe better node option

I only care about the monetary use case of #Bitcoin. Don't you think that these NFT pump and dumps will always run their course when the degens run out of money for the fees? In the mean time this helped the miners when Bitcoin was trading at 20K. I don't think any action is needed to stop the degens, they will always run out of money.

EVERYTHING IS GOOD FOR BITCOIN.

Maybe, but to me it looks like cry babies plugging their ears and screaming. Besides, fees are dog shit cheap compared to what they'll be once people are actually using the network. The 'spam' they're complaining about (however one defines that on something like #Bitcoin) will be so miniscule in comparison.

Alas, node how you wish. I prefer to defend the open network for what it is. I don't want to go down the road of picking and choosing which transactions I think are spam. Plus, you're only screwing yourself on fee estimates as far as I can tell.

how does apply to umbrel tor node operators?
