πŸ’‘Here's the main lesson I got from Miami: if you don't try hard to find places that accept bitcoin and actually go spend the bitcoin there, then the places won't be accepting bitcoin! πŸ€”

Every time you travel, go find the places that have Bitcoin! Pay with Bitcoin! Show your friends, talk to the owners, etc...

That is the only way to make this happen. It's your responsibility! ⚑⚑⚑

btcmap.org is a useful tool to get you started! πŸ—ΊοΈ

This is the way πŸ’―

It's simple enough to ask "do you accept bitcoin?"

Even if you fully expect the answer to be no, if enough people ask, it'll eventually turn into a yes.

+1 and also go to the places that already do. Because many places stopped accepting, since no one actually used it.

We are one of the very few excepting bitcoin in Malaysia. Do visit us when you are in this side of the world: https://btcmap.org/merchant/node:10036326201

Amazing! Are there more business accepting in Kuala Lumpur that you know? ⚑

I've only encounter one restaurant who does and its because I know the owner. He didn't even display the "accept bitcoin lightning" sign. It's almost a virgin market here. But small group of bitcoiners in Malaysia are actively exposing people to bitcoin.
