Why
If I wanted to deal with advertisements. I would turn on the TV.
So to be specific here - if I were to zap 500,000 Sats to creators this week - just with the hope that they’ll see my zap and maybe look at my profile - you would be against that?
I would say be genuine. It is not about the sats here on nostr. Of course you can bribe people to do whatever you want. However when you are reaching out to people who value freedom of speech and control over their digital lives. Quickly you will discover far more people who would be eternally grateful with 5 sats and a comment with genuine interest in what they had to say. Than 500k sats thrown into their face as a cum shot reward for watching whatever you want to feed into their consciousness today.
Nostr does have many genuine opportunities to create revenue as long as you are willing to put yourself out there. Do the legwork and not care what everyone thinks. If you have a product, or service that you wish to promote. Then you have to be passionately sly about it. Talk about it from the honest perspective of why this is significant to you. Why it is worth their time without slapping an advertisement dick in their face.
If you truly believe in whatever you are selling to people. Then people are buying their belief in you. Which is both the sincerest form of flattery and the most consistent form of revenue. For would you rather have 100 loyal customers that truly believe in you and purchase from your store monthly. Versus a thousand customers who only buy from you once and you never hear from them again?
Nostr is about true unrelenting freedom and self moderation. I am certain that if you do what you are planning now instead of contemplating further on the depths of my words here. That you will waste your time and become repetedly reported as spam on day one. Regardless of how many sats you promise to shower your users with.
Everything can be an advertisement at its lowest level.

I often forget that one of my many degrees and certifications is in science. I guess I undervalue that part of my education, because it it is the least worthy of my admiration in my eyes. For I find infinetly more value in philosophy than my 250k debt slavery constantly looming over me. Keeping me from being self-soverign and truly free.

When I’ve had debt in the past I paid lowest first & then when up.
But I feel you on #v4v cause well … being stoned I’ll admit to being enraged at how I was treated based off my looks in a male dominated workplace.
BitTiger@fountain.fm with manual zaps only directly from your lightning wallet for privacy and security concerns. I do not connect nostr to my lightning wallet, because I do not believe in broadcasting to everyone how much is in my private savings account.
For me when it comes to debt I came to this realization after seeing my debt passed around like a cheap whore to new slave owners. If you want my money which was never truly owed in the first place, because I never actually signed anything. Then you do not deserve it until I see you in court and you negotiate.
I have no more credit cards. The ones that tried to drag me in front of a judge I paid pennies on the dollar for to settle. The rest can go fuck themselves.
As far as the student loans go. That is an entirely different matter. Where my own family used it as an excuse to get free money in my name and stuck me with the bill. When I only needed 1/4 of what was currently owed in order to graduate. Plus I never signed any papers either. So until they die naturally and I can take them to court to say prove I ever made a fucking payment in 15 years. It is a cloud over my head pissing on my credit score.
