I'm going to make an amazing recommendation to you. Spend the cash get one of these and try it out for a month. If it sucks I'll buy it and the blades from you for close to the original cost and pay shipping if you're CONUS.

My wife got me one of these and they are amazing. I won't go back to regular razors again

Are either bird or cheese shaving experts and I was unaware? Lemme see what this link is about ..

I am not lol

I have a thing for old Gillettes, but there's a lot of good new stuff out there, also. If you want an old one, look on the forums at badgerandblade.com. They'll have lots of reviews to read, too.

Will get back to you... thanks

Yeah let me know. I'm okay buying it back from you because it'll be a spare. She got me the 6s because it came in a kit with all kinds of stuff with it

Reviews look good. Prob gonna go with that over an older one like mre linked, just cuz I get analysis paralysis too easily with things like that.

Appreciate offer to buy back if not a fan, that's a strong vote of confidence in the product.

I see there's a pricier model with adjustable height instead of the plates, but price is double and saw some comments complaining about feel anyway

The adjustable plates are on point good sir. They make a big difference

Those are sweet looking.

Thanks. I was reading up on Rockwell and people seem to like them. The different plates are cool for tuning the blade gap.

Those old razors are wildly different, so all of them together are probably the same gap variation as 1 Rockwell. 😂

It took me a few uses to find the setting that worked for me. I've enjoyed using it and it's nice to let the weight of the razor just glide down if that makes sense

Oh yeah, I get it. Weight takes the hands out of it. Hands are different every day, gravity isn't.

Which one? There seems to be a few options

Guessing the 6S, in cheapest finish (matte stainless for 120) is what you're recommending. It does look nice...

Wife got me the 6S. Love this thing. Probably will get a better price on Amazon from the companies storefront. Pairs well with nostr:nprofile1qqsppdnxpjc82jlm3yn9gawhv7p4nm69a3f80rg5ycw305xned2s0hcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj76z75w5 soaps

Cool. I stumbled on a profile who reviewed razors a while back, but can't remember who. Don't think it was you or I'd have seen more since...

Anyway, cool. You reminded me I was gonna look into this more. If the blade savings work out (fusion 5 or whatever I've got now are stupid expensive), then could be a no brainer

That's what I was using. I just got a 50 pack of replacement blades for less than $20 off amazon a couple weeks ago

Was tempted by the black finish but went with cheapest one and 100 blade pack. Already know I'm gonna like it, and it'll pay for itself in just a few months.

Nice. Yeah mine was the cheapest one. Keep me posted on how you like it. Sorry for the late reply I just had a chance to check

All good. I'm a fast replier but don't expect others to be

Oh and take this zap back. It's too much and you don't even know if you'll like it.

Haha ok. I tip big for real shopping advice generally, as it saves me hours in searching and getting lost in the sauce. Will get you back if I end up liking it. You can't hide!

If you like it cool. Otherwise hold on to it.

Review soon. Just shaved before came in mail. Looks and feels nice though
