I'm going to make an amazing recommendation to you. Spend the cash get one of these and try it out for a month. If it sucks I'll buy it and the blades from you for close to the original cost and pay shipping if you're CONUS.
My wife got me one of these and they are amazing. I won't go back to regular razors again

I have a thing for old Gillettes, but there's a lot of good new stuff out there, also. If you want an old one, look on the forums at badgerandblade.com. They'll have lots of reviews to read, too.

Reviews look good. Prob gonna go with that over an older one like mre linked, just cuz I get analysis paralysis too easily with things like that.

I see there's a pricier model with adjustable height instead of the plates, but price is double and saw some comments complaining about feel anyway

Those old razors are wildly different, so all of them together are probably the same gap variation as 1 Rockwell. 😂

Was tempted by the black finish but went with cheapest one and 100 blade pack. Already know I'm gonna like it, and it'll pay for itself in just a few months.
