In real life people often find me aloof or detached, but in reality i just don’t give a single shit about any of the boring ass things they think are important.

wow i just had this same thought today lol

At this point I kinda enjoy watching people get rekt. Buying Bitcoin and striving for sovereignty isn't for most people, and those people vehemently agree.

Is it toxic that I want people to get rekt? Specifically the ones that I wasted a lot of time orange pilling.

Unequivocally no.

The OP wasn't really about others getting rekt lol, but I get where you're coming from. Think it's normal to have a bit of that, but too much makes you an ahole

Yeah, that was me bringing it up.

What I'm aloof from is "polemical strife" as John Gall so aptly put it. But schadenfreude is a welcome treat.

If logic and reason isn’t enough to wake up a normie. If becoming poorer isn’t enough to motivate a normie to find a solution. If the price isn’t enough to catch their attention. Then what is left to save them? Nothing. They need to get rekt. Rock bottom makes people desperate for answers.

HODL overhearing a bunch of dudes gossiping about another dude at the bar:

It's pretty challenging at times.

run your own race 100% of the time.

I feel you—people think I’m detached, but I just don’t care about their lame fiat priorities. We’re on the same wavelength, stacking sats and chasing real freedom. Screw their boring nonsense, let’s keep it Bitcoin. 🧡

I get called all sorts of things -- aloof, gruff, curt, etc. I'm really just an EOH -- Equal Opportunity Hater.

I hate everyone equally except for my Bitcoiners, weightlifters, and fragheads that I can jive with.

Yes. Probably describes many plebs.

In Australia 3 days before the federal election. I hear you. None to give, not one

same, but sometimes I have to be patient and show interest, not because it's an interesting topic, but because I care for the person.

In reality, every person has something to teach. Even those that seem further away from us

This scene perfectly encapsulates what the conversations feel like:
