>finally shoot a guy

>opposed roll

>roll to hit

>roll to dodge

>roll for soak

>roll for scatter

>roll for trauma

>roll for gun jam

>his jacket eats the damage anyway

>player says "well actually you would have hit if you remembered the +5 attachments on your pistol"

>game halts while someone Googles the recoil rules

>session ends before anyone gets hurt

>nobody had fun

>somehow the decker is still in initiative hacking a vending machine

>that guy still insists it's the "best system ever bro"

Out of the hundreds of DnD sessions I've played, I've never actually finished a game. It could take 5 hours just to walk across a room. It's why I embraced videogames when they came out, because the computer does all the calculations instantaneously, and you can accomplish so much more in 5 hours of playing. 🧐
