It's a feature that takes time to implement properly. If there is a lot of user demand (seems like there is), then we'll get right on it.
Why can't I use any wallet with Primal? Why do they force Alby or Primal on us?
You can use any NWC wallet with Primal for Android (and soon the Primal web app). Sadly we couldn't get this feature through App Store review on iOS.
How can I use Blue Wallet or Cake WAllet with Primal on Android? It forces Primal or Alby NWC on us now
Are you on the latest Android build? You should be able to use any NWC connection string.

The Apple App Store is bullshit and everyone would be better off not using it.
It’s super interesting that you’re able to get your own wallet implementation through the review process but not NWC connection to another wallet.
Is the Primal web client currently using WebLN?

I’m using Primal as my primary Nostr client. The latest release is awesome and I love that I’m able to use the same (or very similar) client on the web, my iphone and ipad. I’m hosting my own Alby Hub, so having access to the same wallet through NWC makes the most sense for me.
