I've been considering investigating bone-conducting headphones. My old Bose are starting to disintegrate.
Whatever you do, don't start buying high quality audio equipment, cables, etc because you will become obsessed with sound.
It's a dangerous, expensive road. 😂👍

What are you going for presently? Used to use the classic seinheisser HD 25s for everything (producing music etc.) but bought some beyerdynamic 2 years ago and love them.

I just gave a few away to family, so I'm down to 4 pairs now. I've been using Focal Bathys a lot lately. Best BT headphones I've ever owned. My Beyerdynamic DT 1990 pros have been solid for many years.
I like my Sennheiser ones but always interested to know of others. I know of the Beyerdynamic range but Focal Bathys, I’ve not heard of them to be honest. Will look them up.

i got some AudioTecnica AT-900's and some Oppo PM-2 planar magnetics with the Oppo Amp.
This is my "reformed" setup after diving in deep down that rabbithole and pulling myself out.
Very nice setup! I'm running a Schiit Bifrost with a Lyr 3 on my PC.
Recently picked up a FiiO BTR7, and it's a fantastic way to use my wired headphones on the go. I've been using a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pros for many years. Love them. Also works great with my Focal Bathys in wired mode.
I have my first order from Hifiman arriving today, but I'm way too embarrassed to go into details about that purchase. 😂
hifiman? oof, youre going deep! Those DT 1990 Pros are sexy. I had some grado SR325s so I kept those for rocking out until they died recently. the planars are great for jazz/classical/etc but can't touch rock or hip hop on that beyerdynamic level.

Maybe you're already deep enough down the rabbit hole to recommend some wired headphones with a microphone that does not require to sell a couple BTC to acquire them
