I'm officially 20lbs down (9kg for the godless metric users). Mostly carnivore. More walking. Some other body weight exercises. Not as fast as some loose weight, but, it's seems really hard for me to do that usually, so being this close to a fairly arbitrary but big marker is a good thing that makes me... Well, not happy or satisfied, but, mildly pleased with progress let's say.

Eh. If I was doing the right thing in the first place, I'd not have let myself get to this point to bed to lose what I have and so much more. Clawing one's way back to zero is not a particularly high accomplishment to be proud of, IMO.

Forgiving yourself for the past mistakes and focusing on what you're doing now. 20lb is a big accomplishment no matter what a percentage of the total body weight is.

And to stick with carnivore diet is not an easy thing in and of itself. 💖💖

I've recently come across evidence that increasing protein percentages slows down metabolic rate. Makes more sense to me now that I understand why I lost weight so fast when I was doing high fat carnivore while having boundless energy.

Yeah! Increasing fat is really key to helping with burning off body fat!
