Feature idea -- for those accounts you follow that post just a little too often, only show their notes after they reach a certain threshold of likes /zaps?

I’m sure as Nostr develops with more users and more notes, clients will eventually implant filtering or algorithms of some kind. At least with nostr, if you don’t like how one client filters your feed, you can choose another. I think there’s lots of room for innovation and letting users choose how they want to cultivate what they see.

Only show posts with: zaps > 0, 100, 1k, 1M
Was talking about this yesterday. They need to combine the like and boost buttons so that whatever has the most engagement floats to the top off the feed more often imo.
On Twitter the like button acts as a signal to the Algo to show the tweet more, whereas here it does nothing except gives social proof or acknowledgement.
Or they could make a like worth 1/2 a boost and its pushed to the top of the feed every even number? Idk. I feel like it needs something. So long as it's transparent then it's fine.
You're really getting into the area of customisable algorithms.
I'm not sure I'd want an app on my smart phone trying to do all that processing.
I kinda feel like I want a smart relay to do this. It would require that the relay behaves like a client & also a relay. My smartphone client would then connect only to that trusted relay.
