Well girls, go and do some podcasts!
Iāll be honest I turned down a podcast interview request once. I felt under qualified. I probably couldāve gone on and discussed imposter syndrome.

Thereās research that supports that women tend to wait until they reach a higher level of achievement to speak or show their work or even apply for a job. Apparently men are just quantifiably much more willing to speak out of their ass. š
In my family we call this āWhitemanning it,ā while both genders participate liberally in matters without safety or health risk.

I remember seeing someone who wrote a language (canāt remember which one) saw a job post that wanted 4 years of experience in a coding language that was about 2 years old. If I recall correctly he sent his resume thatās says he wrote the language. HR sent a Iām so sorry but weāre looking for someone with 4 years of experience with this language canned response.
I can well imagine that š I just think it would be very valuable for the whole community if more women had their say.
Iād love to see a female host. Here I am probably talking myself into hosting a show. Producing a podcast can be so much work. Especially interviewing guests, at least with the amount of background I do. Iām trying so hard to stick with one project on my slate and finish it to completion. Iām failing miserably.

I donāt know that I would do a bitcoin podcast. I am working on a bitcoin related documentary. Which is the project Iām trying to make my main focus and just get it done. Preproduction on documentaries can be such a long phase.

Everyone jokes that there are too many bitcoin podcasts but I guess the reality of the joke is that there arenāt enough people willing to speak on podcasts.
Iāve seen an uptick in women joining the podcasting space and itās pretty refreshing

Thereās also only so much fresh conversation to mine. So many ideas are repeated, regurgitated, and repackaged. Iād love if someone did a bitcoin podcast outside the context of the Austrian school of economics. Maybe someone knows one?

I think this is part of the beauty of bitcoin. Once you understand it, do you really need to watch anymore podcasts? Sure, there will be minor tweaks and what not, but believing in bitcoin allows one to focus on other interests and endeavours outside of the financial realm.
With that being said, I think if one is interested in the technical side podcasts can valuable. Wallets, mixing, privacy etc are all things that are constantly evolving.
Iād love some recommendations on the technical side of secure communications, and privacy!

We need different podcasts
I would also say that it doesnāt matter if itās regurgitated, different personalities will resonate with different people. All bitcoin podcasts cover the basics, and I bet every single one of those episodes was valuable purely because they reached different demographics.
Some of the podcasts I listen to start the episode on a specific topic but ādevolveā into a general conversation between 2 or more people who are passionate and knowledgeable, thatās very valuable content in my opinion

This includes a wide range of advisors with all different backgrounds and life experiences helping inform me as host about guests choices, conversations, and bringing authentic content (not just diversity for diversityās sake) to the forefront. Having folks like you nostr:npub1csamkk8zu67zl9z4wkp90a462v53q775aqn5q6xzjdkxnkvcpd7srtz4x9 actually speak up does something, by just stating the obvious.
