That makes zero sense

The answer is no I guess, I wouldn’t want my kids to see all the calamities in global

This was on my mind in a similar way. I imagined my nieces connecting to certain relays— sometimes it a huge trigger for me.

I’m always scared to open my feed at school when I’m working. Some of the porn accounts use the plebchain bot…there have been some close calls 😂.

Children should not be on social media except under extremely controlled circumstances. I've seen no good come of it.

children on the internet? no thanks!

Unprepared children, true. Overprotecting children does them no good when they grow up. They should be exposed to the world and parents should educate them how to handle different scenarios! IMHO🐶🐾🫡

My son is on social media and I like to think I’ve educated him well enough to handle all sorts on SM. They need to be exposed but also they need to be educated on how to handle situations.

Precisely! And keeping an open dialogue with the parent is even better. If you protect them from it, they’ll do it in secret and then get into trouble anyways. 🐶🐾🫡🫂

Absolutely no way. Not until we figure out Global.

Maybe some sort of kids mode that locks Global to closely monitored relays.

I heard that Japanese schools are educating students not to do social networking with strangers these days.

The ultimate test of a parent is whether he/she allows their kids to use a social network.

The ultimate test is whether developers can afford kids.

My kids say the social media apps I make are dumb and they like tumblr and discord.

Best answer!

Tumblr is like your kinda stupid little brother. Yeah he's weird, yeah all his friends are weird, but they all generally mean well.

Honestly I think nostr could take some of the space tumblr occupied.

Most common reaction to this is good: in general parents shouldn't let their kids on the internet. But what if we could create a social media experience that was not only safe for kids, but healthy and constructive? If it's possible at all, it's possible with nostr.

The goal is to share consciousness is it not? Probably best to make it inclusive.
