This, is largely why I discuss BTC with very few people. You either know the difference between BTC and "Crypto" or you don't. 99% don't, it's THAT simple🤷🏻♂️.
Remember, the confusion of the average person is actually the most important natural resource in the Western world. If people stopped being stupid -- specifically, if they stopped endlessly consuming crap that they don't need -- then everything would collapse and we'd be back to subsistence farming.

That’s the most optimistic thing I’ve read today. It means that people that are stupid enough to believe that and probably would read only the title will be kept away for much longer, to a point where their participation will be irrelevant anyway.

I think the headline is valid, but..
.. it's revealing something about the state of society, rather than Bitcoin.
(Some) people feel more comfortable with an asset that can be stolen back.
