Has been a while since I joined nostr and once again, I just had some sort of iterative self awareness:
I open my client, read what my frens say, and after 3-4 scrolls I reach to the point I left last time. Maybe I say something, close my client and continue living my life.
This is what a social network is supposed to be even before the internet was invented. I still love this place, thanks to everyone for making it possible.
I saw this and opened LinkedIn, and it showed an influencer's post from a week ago right at the top of my feed. I think it was exactly the fourth one, but I'm probably mistaken, haha
Yup I agree.
It takes me a couple of hours to get through mine as I'm long overdue to sort my lists out.
The only reason I found this post was because of this very reason! If my feed auto scroll to the newest posts I wouldn’t have scrolled up to see this!
I remember every time I would open X it would show me contact from the last time I used it and then auto refresh to new content that was much less interesting or was riddled with ads.
Agree. We don’t need algorithms keeping us scrolling feeding bad content.
