If alcohol is so bad for you, then why did Jesus turn water into wine?
Discussion
Probably because they needed it for a wedding to turn up. Just a thought, I'm no theologian, I'm just nostr:npub1hq7fz9q8c4mqqs6xz48nzpme6tqvulc2u6j6qf3qe0kzude462eqnefhvp
It was a #PsyOp
Exactly! 💯 It's called spirits! They're mostly good... I think! 😂🤙🏽🍻
Wine was safer to drink because the alcohol killed the bacteria and germs. Wine was often mixed with water for similar effect. Beer too.
Where to start
Oxygen is so bad for you, dose is key.
Mass-produced pasteurized alcohol of today is nothing like the alcohol of Jesus’ day
Alcohol is meant to relieve the pain of reality, to make the heart glad. It’s for the weak who can’t rawdog life.
There are consequences to numbing the brain. But it’s okay. Also it’s good to wear out the body doing good—the body isn’t some sacred thing that must be protected at all costs.

goodQ
alcohol free wine? 🍷
It was also "choice" wine

Some of the first life forms could metabolise alcohol among other things, it is the fourth macronutrient some say.
Alcohol lowers your vibration and lowers tour frequency. It gets you all depressed and emotional and it damages your liver and when your liver is in pain the emotion that comes with that is anger. Low vibration and low frequency is bad. We want how frequency and high vibrations because thats love..
I think it had something to do with how difficult it used to be to ensure that water remained safe to drink. Alcohol is a great disinfectant.
In Sunday school, they told us that his miracle was a foreshadowing of his eventual ☠️. The wine represents his🩸.
His mama told him to. If mama ain't happy, nobody is.
He knew which side his bread was buttered
Jesus did not turn anything into sugar. That's why sugar is so bad for your health.
I think it was a scam
He's an alcoholic
Life is to be both preserved and enjoyed. Neither drunkenness nor party pooping allowed 🍻 drink responsibility
To kill all the disease carrying bacterias 🦠 in those unsanitary water resources
Like with the Japanese and pickled ginger after sushi, Westerners *did* use alcoholic beverages as a way to mitigate potentially dangerous microbial load.
Great answer.
A little wine isn't bad. He was showing us that He had to power of creation and that He was the Creator.
Jesus made like 600 LITERS of wine… I would hardly call that moderation lol. JC was trying to keep the party pumping
Maybe Jesus isn't so good for you...
Imagine waking up the day after that wedding and having no water.
Bc wine is not bad for you. Neither any other alcohol. If you drink it in moderation and not on a daily basis. But currently we have this very strange period of time when we tend to go into extreme modes with everything - all or nothing, black and white only. With alcohol - same thing. I think it’s a problem within us not with wine itself.
To demonstrate moderation? Remember how Jesus made unlimited bread but still had enough discipline to maintain insulin sensitivity by fasting? Lot's of health lessons in the Bible, like how animal products should form the basis of the diet.
Because in his infinite wisdom, the miracle was transforming water into fermented grape juice. Not "alcohol".
cus he wasnt a lil bitch
His first recorded miracle. How else to prove that you’re God’s divine authority?
