You gotta embrace becoming both a designer and a developer.
I did though 😅 This was literally my best efforts to cross the design chasm while building full stack. (and it works in all mobile browsers, show me any other app does that) 😅
its good for a first. just keep at it. you'll only get better. build at least a dozen iterations and kept asking for critiques.
