Why do most of the bitcoiners hate Monero? Is it centralised, hard to use, or what? I mean, I didn't see this much hate even for $TRUMP.
I asked this once before and it resulted in a shit show with no answers. I just want to know why, that's it. Simple words because I'm an idiot.
I see it the same as stock investors hating on real estate (or vice versa).
It comes from people not having enough imagination to understand that: not only can there be more than one solution to a problem, but that you can also engage multiple practical solutions simultaneously.
Bitcoin can become a new monetary system, while Monero can't. And $TRUMP didn't even try to look like it could. 😂

I'm not sure it's true most Bitcoiners hate Monero. Many explicitly say they use it, or at least appreciate it even if they don't use it. I'm sure there are plenty of Bitcoiners that are closet Monero users too and just aren't public about it.

💯 only the loud ones hate it, most at least can appreciate the mission.
I’ve given up trying to fully understand these maximalist positions. Some may have been burned on other shitcoins (as I definitely have), for others it might be the lack of scarcity but many will have to change their minds once the government’s come knocking at doors.
I’m in on both. Everyone else may do whatever feels right.
