I ended up sleeping well last night since I was exhausted at the end of the day. I am feeling better for it this morning, so onwards and upwards. 🌞

I can always tell how a day should be based upon my quality of sleep.

It’s the primary lead indicator for me (and really should be for most).

In particular in Western civilization we have praised achievement soo much that we forget that without taking care of ourself, the achievements won’t be sustained.

Moral: Prioritize great sleep (which starts with pre-bed sleep hygiene)

P.S. I started taking 5mg of Melatonin last year and it was a game changer for me. It’s non-addictive yet I notice if I forgot to take it. You might try that!.

You are right. I do try to maintain goid sleep hygiene, but I could definitely improve it.

We actually have melatonin in the house for my stepdaughter. She really struggles to settle down for sleep without it. Maybe I should give it a try.

I do feel like I am coming out the other side of this cold now, so that is going to help. 🙂

My immune system is extremely compromised from past cancer in my bone marrow, and the treatment for that, so I tend to get hit hard by every little bug doing the rounds.

So especially when sick, Melatonin helps. In fact it is part of many Covid protocols.
