yah that was my guess. i'm leaning towards just conceding the debate and sitting, seeing as it's no big deal, doesn't threaten my manhood, and the ladies seem less stressed that way. tbf theyre more affected if we men have bad aim, and it's no biggy having a little sit when we wee... might actually be nice to have a few more mins and two spare hands to scroll #nostr βΊοΈπ

Strive to stand, sit when needed. For example, if peeing standing would wake up a spouse or child then sit.
when pooping must sit or squat, otherwise, preferable to stand
also, pissing straight in the middle of the water puts less spray up on everything btw
this has been my strategy. my mum (and gf) seem to think i'm an animal. tbf, we aren't *entirely* agreed on my qualities a marksman π
haha, yeah, it's noisy but it's cleaner, what's a man gonna do? toilet cleaning sucks, makes life better to not mess it as much, nothing says "clean me" like a piss soaked toilet area lol
this debate is raging in my house rn, and it's not even correlated to gender.
some guys say standing is gross and showers the room I microparticles (at best), or full on globules of piss (for those of us with substandard aim).
some girls say sitting is for sissy boys.
some just like the opportunity for 5 mins of relaxation.
some see sitting as a threat to their manhood.
on top of that - it's been deemed far too dangerous to bring the question of 'willy-wiping' into the debate, for fear of kicking off a full-on regional conflict

The bathroom tends to be the singular place in the house that people respect so you can truly get peace and solace. I'm sitting and taking that time.
As for girls saying sitting is for sissy boys... everyone shits. So is it only sissy when you have to urinate? What about when you go #1 and #2 simultaneously? Are they granting a sissy waiver? They can kindly sit... and spin.
