There’s a full uncut video of the audience member who was “shot” being carried out by the jeans and wrists (possible with a CPR dummy, not a 200+ lb person)
And in that video the supposed wife and daughter he died protecting are not present at all
It’s an extraordinary claim, and it requires extraordinary evidence. However when you dive into the direct evidence (there were thousands of cell phones present, there should be thousands of angles available - and there aren’t) it supports hoax / crisis drill interpretation not real-life event.

Honestly, I don't find anything about this video particularly convincing. It did look like the guy to me, it looks like a bunch of people saying there is a guy who has been shot. Calling what the doctor said a lie is ridiculous that looked like a ton of blood. There are lots of camera angles of the whole mess & the angles all seem to line up perfectly. It looks pretty real to me.
Where are the wife and daughter?
The oft-repeated story, including by the wife, is that he died protecting his wife and daughter.
Here are two things that cannot both be true:

They are paid mercenary free agent actors, usually with stunt training. They get as little info as needed to show up, suit up, and follow the script. I’ve actually met one in real life. And it tracks with my experience in the film industry. It’s just a job, and they are paid to do it. (Sadly, though, unlike real movies, they can’t draw too much attention to themselves because they can’t be reused. Although, incredibly, they do get reused all the time which is truly hilarious. But speaks to that tension between “you’re good at this, you’re reliable, we should use you again if we can get away with it”)
