I like to have a place of permanence, a service and/or platform that doesn't go down on a whim or due to lack of funding and motivation.
Nostr is good at what it does, so long as you avoid the suckage of the toxic maxis and their shilling crap. Much like fedi in a way, just more tech-based and not ego-based.

I don't believe that anything not Bitcoin is predisposed to be a scam, which most self-labelled "maxis" give vitriolic responses to when that opinion is verbally stated.
90% of crypto IS like that, but not all of it.
