Lol 😭 This was a real scenario I ran into a few weeks ago 🤣 Not an emergency thankfully, but I tried every phone number and online chat I could find for the bank and there wasn’t any way to get help. Capital One, so not like a little local bank. Today’s holiday reminded me of it. Lol

FUUUUUCKK

You are both on my shit list for reminding me this existed right before bed. 👿
You mean it doesn’t play in your head all day for 20 years ?
I climbed to the top of a mountain in the Andies, sat with a great master, and purged the evil from my body and mind.
Sorry for your loss
I see, I see. Perhaps you have more refined taste in commercials. May I offer this classic for your enjoyment?
Damn for a second I thought that was a real place and was packing my bag
I know this 🙂
Or,
YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT MUCH CASH OUTTA THE ATM R YOU CRAZY?
Had that once.
Wasn't even that much, really.
💯🤣🤣🤣 My most recent issue was with a check I deposited from a large and easily verifiable organization. They flagged it as suspicious and it took multiple phone calls by me back and forth between the bank and the organization, with a combined hours waiting on hold, just to finally get the right people in contact so they could say “yep it’s fine” and then they released the funds. Was like a couple hundred bucks. Lol 😂 🤡
Friend of mine told me a story of withdrawing like $250k of cash. As a company the only problem was to make sure that you have an appointment in a bank (yes you can do that in our country).
So he withdrew the IOUs and later figured that the he no longer needs it.
So the next day he went to the very same building, with the very same bag of money to deposit it.
It took 2 weeks. With questions like WHERE DID YOU GET THE MONEY you terrorist! And answers like: in this fucking building!
Ah, then he did get it from terrorists—bankers!
💯
So annoying and outdated
I can’t even get funds out when they are open!
Me either. They keep telling me I’m overdrawn, but how am I supposed to help that? I’m not an artist. 🧑🎨
Next time try wearing a mask and discreetly handing the teller a note asking for a large sum of cash. It’s amazing. Not only do you get the money right away but they call a police escort for you.
I lived this working at Wells Fargo Investments 20 years ago.
Banks HATE checking accounts.
