Sent a complaint for badly printed business card (on the left) so they sent me replacement (on the right)

😮‍💨

All sides are supposed to be even...

Any bitcoin company doing these kind of print?

You'll probably never get straight ones, such is the nature of paper moving through rollers in a digital printer, things shift from sheet to sheet, even a millimeter can make a difference. If you order 50,000 you might get straight ones from an offset printer.

They should mention that the back side of the card cannot be printed with precision. They advertise as if you can make a design on their platform and have it printed that way. Seems like it's not the case.

Front side is always good tho.

They are definitely not hitting the bleed right. I do my own prints but do not have capacity to cut giant stacks.

I don't get it. I made the design on their platform. It should fit the card but it seems like the design is just to big to fit in so they have to cut some sides short.

Ah… well then you aren’t hitting the bleed right ;) you should be able to get the specs from them though.

I shouldn't be the one having to hit the bleed right (only 95% sure what this is) I used their template for the card and added something in the middle 🤷‍♂️

Seems like printers have difficulties with the square ones. At first I went to see a local printer but he couldn't do it either. They asked me to modify something. Pretty sure the bleed wasn't right. So I went with the design company itself.. still can't do it.

Anyway.. 😅 I'll probably manage to get a refund so all good

It’s hard to tell what the dimensions of those cards are but yeah, card companies will have a margin. The prints don’t look particularly crisp either. You might have better luck with stickers.

The bleed is how far the design extends past the cut. So your design might work better with a repeating pattern edge that could continue out past the bleed.
