Not true. Andreas was good on tech and absolutely horrible on economics. There was a massive gap to fill that got filled by Austrians like saifedean and Pierre Richard etc…
Sure there were others, but Andreas was the Guy everyone looked too
Crypto industry used a segmented marketing campaign, and split the bitcoin community into different segments that don't talk to one another
Creating distrust, confusion and disorder
It's the same tactic that compaines use to create brand loyalty across different properties in the same industry

Correct. Love Andreas but the view that every child and school class would have their own coin was not very economically literate, to put it mildly. I empathize with that view a lot though, as I was in the same boat pre-bitcoin.
His lectures on Bitcoin were incredible, because he actually explained how it worked.
