I’ve been bugging nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr to give us custom emojis…

At minimum at least let us select other emojis besides a heart and display the actual reactions that people used instead of displaying a heart no matter what reaction they used

No, I want the whole damn emoji keyboard.

Yeah that’s why I meant by being able to select other emojis. I don’t consider that custom emojis. I consider this to be custom emojis https://emojito.meme

I want those too. On every client.

#yestr but the first lower hanging fruit is giving us more than just a heart. Even if it was a shaka instead of a heart I’d be happy. Heart is ghey. 😂

Purple or orange heart though. I fucks with that. 😂

nostr:npub1yaul8k059377u9lsu67de7y637w4jtgeuwcmh5n7788l6xnlnrgs3tvjmf is working on all sorts of #damus emoji fun! 💜

Damus keeps rugging my mute list though. Or at least I suspect it is. So switching clients for a few days to see if it stops happening. If my mute list doesn't get rugged this week, then I can be pretty sure the issue is with Damus.

Good experiment. I know nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5 has been on this so hopefully we can figure it out. Keep us posted! 💜

Sir, I’m on iOS

Think about If the device and the app don't let you do what you want... I felt nostr was an important enough tech that I set up a freedom pixel simply for the ecosystem.

Can you see the ₿ I reacted to your note with?

I have a pixel, but I don't use it as my daily driver so it's not always charged. I don't want custom emojis bad enough to switch to using my pixel as my daily driver.

This is a developer issue, don’t make it about the users’ choice of OS/device.

yeah don't do it only for the emoji

It's kinda crazy how much a single dev like nostr:npub1n0sturny6w9zn2wwexju3m6asu7zh7jnv2jt2kx6tlmfhs7thq0qnflahe has out-built so many other clients with whole teams at their disposal to make Nostur incredibly feature-rich. Excited to see where Nostur is in a few years time.
