Hotz nails it❗❗❗Bottomline: Elon & buddies want to regulate & control AI because they are afraid it will expose the fact that they are not as intelligent as they think they are. They are also afraid of the competition it may present once everyone has an even playing field, establishing "equal opportunity" for achieving great things for everybody. Not just the people with money. AI is a major tool for advancing civilzation and empowering humanity.
