This may be on hold. They pushed the date back to Jan 13th and volunteer reporting as of yesterday when he checked

Hmmm. They pushed this back 13 days? Any reason why? What is 13 days going to do?

The BOI reporting requirements are being challenged in court. It was stopped, started, and stopped again. Currently, it is stopped so your friend doesn't need to file this report yet. It will probably be March or so if it survives the court challenge. Hopefully it does not.

But yeah, your commentary is 🎯. Big government likes big companies that can be easily controlled. Small business gets steamrolled.
