I would trust no Mixing service. So far most have been demixed and even if not, maybe in 10 years it will. A decent Lightning obfuscation is better IMO, if you can only use one.
Bolt-12 will significantly enhance the Lightning obfuscation abilities.

How do I do decent lightning obfuscation?
its still the early days, i would do something like this:
load your on chain bitcoin on to your lightning node, send it to another LN wallet, like getalby, spend a bit, send it back, put it back on chain with a mixer and send it to a fresh on chain wallet , all of this behind tor and VPN
Best two have two of your own nodes, connected via private channel.
Send from one node to other, than either on chain or rotate it between no-KYC custodial wallets for a little extra work for any tracker, then submarine swap out.

And if you argue for privacy via p2p, please caution that this doesn’t apply if you wire money from your bank account.

Well, I wouldn’t assume you’d do it. But unfortunately I know too many beginners who do it because they’ve been told „go p2p, for privacy“ with no additional info.
And several so called „privacy advocates“ even discourage Lightning obfuscation, recommending only p2p even with wire and already reversible mixers.
Which is why this is a loaded topic for me.

There is instant SEPA in Europe. It’s one of the few real-time fiat options. PayPal, Revolut and stuff is all also full KYC, with the slight advantage that for the latter two only the state can get your identity, while SEPA (wire) everybody with a little skill can get your name, address and birthdate

In Canada we have Interac E-Trasfer through email.
perfect for small amounts, the only thing revealed to the receiver is the email address and full name to the seller through Bisq.
Half of them are Chinese and Finish names.
I'll take my chances on Bisq p2p with email money trasnfer and then mix and match and ride the lightning right after my boating accident.
