I don't even know what a pine nut is. Never tried or even seen them 🤷‍♂️

So brave

Eating these is a thing? 🤔

I have no idea and I lost all interest because you can hardly make any liquor from those so-called nuts. It's a disgrace to biology, anthropology and nature in general. Fucking vegans and their weird shit.

I had no idea either lol

I bet they can make great buttsticles tho.

Laser take it please 🤣🤣🤣

Vegans. Every damn time.

Stunning

I've somehow never heard of them 🤷‍♂️

I used to watch the food network ages ago, they were always making pesto. The meal plan service I use has recipes to toast them and throw them on salads. They're good that way but other toasted nuts work just as well 🤷‍♀️.

They’re teeny tiny little nuts. Very soft. I have only used them when making pesto, you kind of mash them up and throw them in

You have to toast them first

I believe you can buy them pre toasted or I’m confusing myself. It’s been a while since I’ve made pesto

I think you can. The ones I get from Trader Joe’s are not toasted

Oo I can’t remember where I shopped, but moral of the story is: if you’ve had pesto, you’ve probably had pine nuts 😂

🤣

In protest I am going to make kale pesto today with PINE NUTS

Sounds fire to me 🤤

🤌

I can't say I've ever had pesto 🤔

Oh so you’re a new born baby who has never LIVED?!!!??!?! 😂

If you had pesto you have had pine nuts

I'm one. I'm nuts for pines.

You should see our yard. We have 10 pine trees in the front yard.

Im sure you have if you eaten out. Haha almost ever restaurant uses it as an ingredient in something. Have you had pesto.

They are the seeds of many different varieties of pine trees (pine cones). They are high in fats, protein and are delicious. Pine nut salsa rustica is one of my favorite uses.

At least they aren't potatoes.

Potatoes I know. We had a huge potato patch on the farm growing up, to stock the root cellar. I love 'em.
