Nostr is the only way to truly own your own content, your relationships, and your reputation. Don't give that away to a company for free.

This is more true if everyone runs their own relay

With barely functional "delete" buttons, I would say the opposite.
Nostr goal is absolutely censorship resistance, no trade offs
It's to prevent censorship that deletion is not mandatory. Otherwise a government could obly you to delete your content.
So if you want beint able of deleting things when governments tell you to, use twitter
To own your content is to own the distribution and accessibility of it.
