idk entirely what a cypherpunk is, but as a newcomer, it's truly for everyone that wants freedom from many things.
Just read the manifesto. Its pretty focussed on privacy, which is not all too applicable to Nostr, but if you squint your eyes, you can see Nostr fitting in.
Just imagine if we had all been hanging out where the cypherpunks hung out in 2008.

I'm not worthy of such definition.
I'm a nostr user but don't really see myself as a cypherpunk, but I'm definitely a beneficiary of the cypherpunks' legacy

Cypherpunks - by definition are those who no one talks about 😭😭 .. they just don't exist in public domain .. like a #higgs field , they are unperceivable by normies ..
The idea that world cares where they meet ..is this a non starter :-)
