If a long post has more than one url/image/lninvoice... do you prefer:

1. Seeing the preview immediately, breaking the sentence with an image (as it is today).

2. Seeing the preview after the current paragraph ends. Do we add [#] or ^#-style reference marks?

3. Seeing all previews at the bottom of the entire post?

At the bottom of the post.

dude you’re making fusion energy with y why haven’t we met yet lol

Just because you do not want 😁 and I answered you too late.

I think that part of the text with the appearance of the picture or video below so that if I want to read the whole post it expands and reads like this better in my opinion

I like the way it is!

Or I need a preview button.

4. none of the above options

content must be shown where it is inserted

Second this take!

But you cannot embed posts in Nostr. :(

embed whole images/videos/etc

Somehow image preview now auto expands (appears 1" later) and this lowers the older posts making it difficult to skim.

As a Twitter clone, I think it should put the images at the end. The way it is right now is a little jarring, but I think the most jarring is when http links expand in place.

"4"? If none of them load until you interact with the post would that help with speed?

Let's say Mike has a post like that but I don't care to see it, i don't want his post slowing my feed while it's trying to load all his stuff

I would say don’t show a preview unless the url is at the end of the post

This is how Sync for Reddit solves the issue:

That's pretty good solution.

Inline for everything other than URLs. URLs should be linkified, and if you provide a preview, probably after the paragraph where the link is.

3 makes more sense to me. Same as on discord.
