I've been using the Internet since 1994 and we still have not figured out how to effectively display sarcasm without additional indication. How can Nostr fix this?

As something of a sarcastic cunt myself (I'm British), I like to think it just kind of shines through in my notes🙏🏻.
It's not the lack of a notifying factor, more a reflection of the numb skull recipients who read it.

Oh it's just a backwards question mark lol I thought it had a weird squiggle through it or something I still don't have the backwards question mark on my keyboard though which makes it difficult to use online

I understand that is an additional indication, but I automatically read it as sarcasm and I prefer it over /s (which can also mean serious) or the variation of the ! Symbol which I don't even have on my keyboard

Maybe we don’t fix it. Misread sarcasm is the last remaining proof there’s a human on the other end.
I doubt it is possible. Not even twins understand each other knowing they grew up in the same environment. We wire and learn differently. Layer that with other things we exposed ourselves and our communication style. Then you introduce the internet with people from around the world with different culture, belief systems and upbringing. What makes it challenging is what makes it interesting too — to be human. ☺️
Just want to elaborate when I say understand it means they do not alwaya on the same page and disagreement is to be expected. ☺️
