I'm currently reading it and really like it so far. It provides a really good history on interest rates all the way back from Mesopotamia. I like it because it's not another "why bitcoin is better money" kind of book. No mention of bitcoin or anything like that, but it's clear why we are on the right path with bitcoin and scary times are ahead for everything else. I like to read stuff that's outside our little BTC echo chamber, and this is one of them.

I’ve read it. Chances are that your knowledge of the current system there isn’t going to be any new insights here just specific data to reference. It’s along the lines of a vaclav smil book that is well researched and a bit dense.
