Depends on the fake sweetener.

-Sucralose is awful for you gut biome

-Aspartame and saccharine are probably carcinogenic.

β€”But stevia and monk fruit iare looking like a solid choice as a more natural alternative.

I think moderation is key with anything sweet or imitation sweet.

We weren’t evolved to have 24/7 access to sugar. Its a treat.

Stevia and Monk fruit are potentially linked to liver problems. We just use honey and or maple syrup, but you are totally right that moderation is key.

I met someone who's friends work at coca cola, and they said that they go research on all the effects of the sugar and sugar substitutes they use, and basically they're all bad, they just attack different parts of the body.

Another reason I prefer real sugar πŸ˜…

Though the high fructose corn syrup they out in drinks in the US makes it all horrible as well. πŸ˜” but it tastes so good...

I think that’s a very sound approach.

Totally agree: balance is everything 🍻

Crazy how our bodies are wired for occasional sweetness, not constant hits of it. Stevia & monk fruit for the win πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ§‘
