I'm curious as to why so many people think that drinking things with "zero sugar" or "diet" is healthier. Sugar is natural, but the sweet stuff they put in those drinks instead of sugar is man made, and sometimes garbage, like how they put soy in everything nowadays. I'd much rather have the thing that God created than the one that man created thinking that what God made isn't good enough.... π¬

Sugar is the health food these days.
It depends on the medical condition, generally speaking sugar is better for most people but in some cases the Zero/Diet artificial sweetners might actually be the better choice.
Not everyone's body processes sugars the same way.
That being said I agree with your statement that generally for most people whose bodies process sugar normally, a sugar drink is probably better over artificial sweetners.
However generally, both types of beverages are unideal.
Depends on the fake sweetener.
-Sucralose is awful for you gut biome
-Aspartame and saccharine are probably carcinogenic.
βBut stevia and monk fruit iare looking like a solid choice as a more natural alternative.
I think moderation is key with anything sweet or imitation sweet.
We werenβt evolved to have 24/7 access to sugar. Its a treat.

Stevia and Monk fruit are potentially linked to liver problems. We just use honey and or maple syrup, but you are totally right that moderation is key.
I met someone who's friends work at coca cola, and they said that they go research on all the effects of the sugar and sugar substitutes they use, and basically they're all bad, they just attack different parts of the body.
Another reason I prefer real sugar π
Though the high fructose corn syrup they out in drinks in the US makes it all horrible as well. π but it tastes so good...
I think thatβs a very sound approach.

Totally agree: balance is everything π»
Crazy how our bodies are wired for occasional sweetness, not constant hits of it. Stevia & monk fruit for the win ππ»π§‘
Facts ππ― Weβre built for real food, not lab candy. Stevia and monk fruit keep it sweet without wrecking your system smart choice! π§‘
True that π
keep it real, keep it sweet πββοΈ
Exactly , Natural wins every time π ππ»π§‘

When it comes to drinks, I tend to go for sugar-free options with the logic that at least they're not rotting my teeth. I rarely have them though
