I weathered the entire storm. Never updated my wos after it left the US and continued using it with a VPN. Glad to finally have it legit again. Feels like when they legalized weed. Won't change what I do but good to know we cool now!

told ya. they're not hiding the * but just know that it is not truly self custody - nevertheless one of the easiest wallets out there to use!
What's the asterisk?
It’s not true on-chain self-custody like Lightning since you’re relying on Spark Operators to move your funds for you.
There’s also a slick website to look up all transactions you make on WoS because it’s using Spark.
But this also makes it a poor choice for privacy, since anyone can see all of your transactions if they know your static Spark address.
and you can extract someone's spark address from any of their invoices
Yeah, that’s also very disappointing.
For USA folks - what is the process to migrate off TestFlight and onto the real deal? Or is it to start over on a new wallet (hoping not the case).
Why do people love WoS so much?
It’s a great wallet but like, is not that crazy right? am I missing something?
