Probably liquidity issue...
You probably lack inbound liquidity on your Phoenix channels.
This is why i stick to WOS, it just works.
not keeping more than a handful of sats on there anyway.

As was mentioned almost certainly an inbound liquidity issue. If you opened the Phoenix wallet with 1 channel and spent nothing or only a small amount, you probably have little or no inbound liquidity. I would recommend trying the Phoenix add liquidity feature
Make sure phoenix is open on your phone while the payment is being sent or it will not be able to receive a payment.
Phoenix does auto liquidity adjustment so try to just have the wallet open when you are sending.
And make sure you aren’t on a US ip address trying to use WOS also, lol.
I don’t think a US IP address is needed
No support for WoS in the U.S. anymore. Turn on your VPN in another country like Mexico and then try to send the same payment 🤙🏼
It's called phoenix sucks but I still use it for some reason
