Wait it’s a battery

Nah. Etimology of "battery" not how bitcoin be

This explains why my block clock isn't updating...

Is it stuck at 1BTC?

Economic energy battery.

Noooooooo

Like all good batteries it loses charge over time, just look at this years performance

Like energy, value is never lost it only changes form. And just like a battery, Bitcoin in the cold becomes less efficient.

Time and energy in extracted form. Not electrical energy, can't power your laptop. But hold up enough sats and those plebs will turn a turbine.

Extracted? No way. Captured, maybe.

*Abstracted. My bad.

That said, all bitcoin analogies suck because it is unlike anything we've ever known.

Bitcoin is only like a battery the same way money is like a battery. The same way bitcoin is like many things, but it isn't. Because it's better at all of them.

I agree with all of this. Except the battery part.

Bitcoin is like a Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System, except with custodians and KYC.
