Been asking how to be a doer for just over 2yrs only to get mainly meme like replies or ignored most the time.
Yall building have to encourage and teach doing.
The whole "if you don't get it I don't have time to explain" attitude here is insane.

To be a doer you have to start doing, anything is fine, that’s how we learn, by doing. Do it, and do it now, not later 🫡
Agreed! Learning is key! Thankfully a few here pointed me in a direction that's helped a bit and I was able to get some basic functionality building a myspace 1.0 like nostr client so far...😅
I know html and css...Javascript scrambles my brain and I'm having a hard time with it though. 😭
Okay, I'm tasking you with being head of reddit for Nostr.
It's on you to reply & onboard new users from reddit.
It’s like the shittiest job one can have, come on! Give him a break 😂😂😂
He's built for it, I can feel it.
I'm banned from to many reddit subs for the job unfortunately.
Uninstalled reddit about the same time I found nostr.
Asking others how to be a doer is a bit of an oxymoron. You just start working on some project you’re interested in.
Other people know and have been through alot more than I have...I've never built anything! No harm in asking for advice on what to learn, where, and why! 💜🫂
Great to hear you are learning.
What kind of thing you will be doing? 😉
Lets build a help doing thread here 🙌
Follow nostr:npub1zafcms4xya5ap9zr7xxr0jlrtrattwlesytn2s42030lzu0dwlzqpd26k5 , he shows that you can just do stuff.
courage is the key, and i tend to give detailed responses and rarely say i don't have time at least on the first occasion, if you nag me again with the same question and didn't read my first answer you can GFY and i'll be muting you for being a pest
don't be a pest. read. listen. ask for clarification. have some fucking courage. you don't get anything out of life without audacity
> if you don't get it I don't have time to explain
Bothers me when it's used a cop out (which is most of the time). If you are making an offer, you better be prepared to explain that offer over and over and over again. That's sales baby. The goal is to reduce that but don't make an offer if you aren't going to explain why someone should take it when asked.
There is a difference when those have been standing on their soapbox for months if not years about something and no one would listen so it's time to build.
