👀 What's the delio with "deez nuts"? Where does it come from, what does it mean? I guess I could Google that but then I wouldn't be here.

"The first known usage of deez nuts comes from the Chronic, a 1992 album by Dr. Dre (the actual track is spelled “Deeez Nuuuts”). The song begins with a phone call between a man and a woman. After a short back-and-forth between the two, the man suddenly shouts “Deez nuts!” Within a year, deez nuts had already gained popularity among hip-hop and R&B artists. In 1993, the expression deez nuts appeared in the titles of songs by the rapper A.L.T. and the R&B group Xscape. The later usage of the phrase deez nuts directly evolved from the intentionally disruptive way it is used in Dr. Dre’s 1992 song."
I know that my freinds and I (12 year olds) used to sing it out in various tunes with various added lines. I still remember my version....

Visited OB couple days ago and also sensing into what might be like to live there.
Sweet, OB is my hood, it's a lot like Venice, lords of dog town ghetto on the beach lol. Lots of locals.
I also like South Park/golden hill, big historic homes, quiet neighborhood just far enough away from downtown.

...instead I started listening to Depeche Mode... Because this whole conversation reminded me that when I was 11 I did have a whole bunch of casettes and one of my favorites was Depeche Mode. Not sure what album but I'd not listened to them in ages.
