Right now would be a good time to get peppers in the ground if you want a warm season crop. For cool season crops lettuce, carrots, and beets would do really well. Especially as temps begin to get lower.

If you do. We carry Buttercrunch Butterhead lettuce. It’s a crisp, sweet variety and it’s quite heat resistant!
I was also looking at the Snowball Turnips. any tips for growing those?
Those did pretty well on their own for us. But we did find that pill bugs and ants liked to hang around the base of them. You can place used coffee grounds around the base of them to deter them due to the caffeine content of the grounds.
