Making fun of people for still using Twitter is like telling people to HFSP for not buying #Bitcoin
It's fun, but come off as an ass.
You don't know people's finances and you don't know what people use social media for.

Still so many eyeballs and activity there hard to step away.
show me the incentives and I'll show you the outcome.
Dipping your feet in both gives you access to present day value while building a base for the future
I also take objection to HFSP .... some are rich now and only when hyper bitcoinization occurs will they be poor. So the saying really is "have fun being poor".
it misses the point for a lot of people and isnt the companionate argument that actually makes people curious
I often think about this. It sounds elitist and unnecessarily condescending, like so much of what Twitter itself amplifies in people.
No one is persuaded by being told HFSP.
agree.
people particularly seem like an ass when they say it to me like they expect me to not post in a place that fuels my business
Yeah. Behind the purist and zealous confrontation are often people that don't really know what it takes to run a business and see using platforms like X (now dogmatically anathema) for business as *selling out* or somehow not *truly* being missionally aligned with freedom tech.
Keep going man. You're putting in the work and providing value.
very well said and something I see frequently
I still maintain my MySpace.
Oh man, I'm sorry. I'm so excited about this protocol, that I've been doing that a bit. I know there's way more people on a Twitter, and I get the desire to make a living for your family.
I don't really see the point anymore either. People are going to do what they want to do, as they should. Also, I don't think we really need them to get it anymore. The train is already gaining speed. I'm not trying to convince people anymore. I just tell them what it's done for my life, share some resources if they want them, and then move the fuck on. It's a calmer life, and I've actually convinced more people this way than when I'd carry on about how stupid fiat is. Bitcoin speaks for itself once curiosity is sparked.
There needs to be an entire reevaluation on what it means to value and to communicate that value to others.
I agree with you entirely.
I still use twitter but I find this space much more open with greater possibilities
