Can it also relate to tor in some way?
From your experience implementing it, what are the drawbacks or challenges? The pros I already know. I'm trying to find out what i'm getting into
You need to be good with lots of relay connections and your filters need to migrate from relay to relay as you load each user's outbox settings. So, it's a lot of filter rotation. You need to have a good control of your subscriptions to avoid duplicated queries.
