Towards the beginning Lex Luthor has some guy in a suit fighting super man, and is calling out like..Chess move type commands to random people in a room who are apparently communicating those commands to the dude in the suit to do “moves” to “anticipate” superman to beat him. Because he “studied” superman. So superman moves..like….fast, but he’s calling out the moves like 1 every few seconds, which then have to go into the brain of another normal human who has to type them into a computer to go to the man in the suit…and somehow this is fast enough to “counter” superman “moves”. Subscribe just seems more definitionally accurate than Follow because it simply means you’re opting into their content stream. It carries less ideological weight.

You can subscribe to someone’s thoughts without necessarily believing in or adopting their worldview. It’s a more honest description of the actual relationship. I want to receive what you’re broadcasting, but that doesn’t mean I’m a follower in any deeper sense.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Withholding Bitcoin until 18 isn’t teaching sovereignty. It’s creating deferred dependency. You’ve just become their central bank with a time lock.

If they don’t grasp these first principles early, your stack becomes another unearned windfall. The exact wealth trap that destroys generational value.

Teach them monetary debasement at 8, not 18. Let them earn sats, feel the difference between hard and soft money, understand why scarcity creates value. They need to internalize these truths before the world teaches them that money is whatever the Fed says it is.
